Box N Burn classes are designed for you to have fun, enjoy a great high energy workout, and learn some new skills all at the same time.
Your 45 minute boxing class consists of 50% boxing (shadow boxing & punching bags) + 50% strength & conditioning using a variety of modern training equipment.
Follow along to every second of the class on the screen to guide you through every punch & movement + your lead instructor will keep you motivated, energized and on track with your form.
You will be using real boxing techniques, punches, footwork & defense just like the pros, but of course, without the contact!
After your introduction to the fundamental punches and boxing techniques, you’ll be guided through a warm up & x1 3 minute round of shadow boxing to practice your new punches.
Then it’s gloves on! Your class will consist of 4 rounds on the bag and 4 rounds on the floor, where you’ll rotate between stations every 2 rounds.
Your final push will be the group Burn round, a 3 minute, dynamic, heart raising series of exercises designed to take your athleticism, endurance and fitness to the next level.
Your final part of the class will be 3 minutes of abs & core work on the floor to put the finishing touches on an amazing workout and leave the gym with those abs feeling great.
For your first class, please arrive at the gym at least 15 minutes prior to your class start time.
We’ll use this time to get you checked in, complete the waiver, show you the layout of the class, wrap your hands and most importantly… guide you through the fundamentals of boxing before the class starts, so you feel like a pro before you even get the gloves on.
During pre-class, we break down the basic stance, movement, punches and defense plus the class format, so you will know exactly what to do and when to do it once the class begins.
Remember everything during your class will be on the screens.
Trying a sport like boxing can feel intimidating, but don’t worry. The reason Box N Burn classes are the best is because we prioritize having fun, and we have beginners and newcomers to our classes almost every class.
